...I went in to have a second opinion with Dr Baugh after my sons regular doctor told him that if he had a mole removed from his face it would be cosmetic procedure, and that there was nothing unusual. How Many Treatments Do I Need?
A single microdermabrasion appointment is best suited for the treatment of acne or rebuilding collagen, and your skin will show a soft, natural-looking glow after just one visit. However, it is important to note that microdermabrasion provides more pronounced results with each treatment. For the best results, Dr. Baugh will suggest sessions once or twice a week, lasting approximately 35 to 45 minutes each, performed over the course of two to 12 weeks.
Skincare After Microdermabrasion
You will need to wear a minimum of SPF 15 sunscreen to protect your skin following your appointment, but since your skin will not become photosensitive, you can spend time outdoors following your treatment.
